Mecha test run

The Department of defense is preparing out their new mobile unit for a test run. H.A.U. (heavy armed unit) is actually a lightweight biped unit armed with high caliber anti-tank machine gun, anti-tank missiles, shoulder mounted  VADS (vulcan air defense system) and protected by lightweight anti-magnetic steel armor plating and reactive armor. It also has different countermeasure systems for increased protection. This unit was made for special tactical operations (i.e. taking care of a bus hostage drama JK!)

Was inpsired by artists I'm watching at DA. Done in Painter IX and PSCS3

Sketch 09/23/10

Sketch in paint tool SAI. I'm thinking if I should buy the license for it coz it can't be re-installed to another
computer.

Sketch 09/22/10

assassin girl
Tried out my trial version SAI if it still works and surprisingly it worked even though it was months old expired, apparently it can't be saved so just took a screen shot of my sketch. What I love about SAI is it's very easy to use and has very crisp brush stroke, sorta like vector. It's best for sketch and linearts but I would still prefer Photoshop for finished works because of it's versatility.

Remnant of war

Long ago man used colossal machines to wage war against each other. The era of war has long ended but remnant of these ancient machines still exist only as a reminder of the past war.

The Trespasser

Here's the final version. I dumped my initial idea and replaced the GI Joe with a medieval dragon hunter inspired by Aragorn of LOTR.
Below are the progress shots.

Raw-Bot

Did this for a change. Been doing a lot of fantasy theme lately so it's refreshing to do something from a different genre. Also I missed drawing mechas. The design is too generic though, still not good with mechas. My favorite mechs are from Armored Core, Front Mission, FMP, and Gundam series.

Update!

Happy Birthday Emma!

Another environment concept, I liked this a lot though my architecture sucks. I like the idea of a trade center where all sorts of race and people gather together.
